Like a newly married couple seeking solace in the suburbs, Pizzicato, the contemporary Italian trattoria originally in Old City, has traversed the Ben Franklin to unfurl a second location in the Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton. There are similarities between the two: the warm, earthy dining room; the cavernous brick oven; the award-winning whole roasted bronzino. But there are differences as well, namely that the two-year-old, 2004 Best of New Jersey locale is a BYOB, which translates into savings. Stop at the liquor store and splurge on a bottle of Brunello to savor with Chef Rich Scavetti’s notoriously euphoric specials that normally include steaks and veal chops. With seating for 70 at this 73 South spot, reservations are highly recommended.
